Baby June is a chatty baby - or so we think. She's the first tiny human we've studied closely.
Whew. We're learning something new every day here. The future's always tempting to fixate on, but watching this little one change and grow is teaching me to …pause…
What's holding your attention in the here and now? Hope your week brings you some delightfully unexpected moments worth pausing for.
Thanks for reading.
Meal times. Our toddler is an outlier and takes forever to eat her meals - as in 1 hour for lunchtime, during which is savoring her food, chatting to the dog, moving her napkin around, etc. It's temping to do a million other tasks while she dines, but sometimes I just sit and "be" with her, and it's so sweet.
Play-Doh is causing me to slow down these days.
Parenthood is such a journey of being in awe of the now and excited of the new experiences to come. Love that June is letting her presence be known vocally.
